Step in, stay ready, and keep every route moving forward.
Must be flexible to step into new routes and different territories on a daily or weekly basis.
Ability to handle all routing operations within the terminal efficiently.
Must be willing to assist across all RushLogix service areas when required.
Approved and comfortable driving all fleet vehicles, including Cargo Vans, Small Step Vans, Large Step Vans, and Box Trucks.
Primary coverage for employee vacations, time off, and sick leave.
Must be ready to step in where needed even when vacations are not scheduled, including support for high volume, driver shortages, or operational needs.
Participation in contingency coverage for out-of-area contractors when assistance is required, with the option to accept or remain for local coverage. Applicable pay adjustments will apply.
Route Driver Duties And Tasks
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (Non-CDL position).
Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Load and unload packages manually with care.
Work efficiently in all weather conditions.
Ensure package quality and safety until delivery to the customer.
Follow all company policies related to delivery procedures and recordkeeping using scanners and handheld devices.
Communicate and report any issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
Maintain package control and report any lost, stolen, or damaged items during transit.
Follow all safety procedures and immediately report unsafe conditions to management.
Adhere to RushLogix vehicle policies and FedEx contractor safety standards.
Maintain excellent punctuality and attendance at all times.

Compensation
Adjusted pay rates or salary packages will be offered to qualified candidates based on route requirements and flexibility.
An additional week of paid vacation will be awarded after one year of successfully working as a Vacation Route Driver.
